Rui Luo

Rui Luo has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. They started their professional career as a Software Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation in July 2016. Following this, Rui worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business in July 2017. In May 2018, they interned at WePay and contributed to improving the Risk documents uploading and reviewing workflow. Rui then joined WePay as a Software Engineer in January 2019, where they worked on Java, Kafka, and gRPC technologies, as well as engineering design and interview processes. Currently, Rui is employed at WePay as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Risk Infrastructure. They are responsible for developing the Risk signals/rules Engine, Velocity and aggregation Pipeline, and working with Kafka.

Rui Luo completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2017-2018. Prior to that, Rui Luo earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2012-2016.
