William Luo (Billy)

Billy Luo has extensive work experience, starting in 2012 as a Physics Study Session Leader at Cal Poly State University. William(Billy) then interned at Cisco Systems in 2013 and 2014 as a Hardware Engineering Intern. In 2015, they worked as an NPI Software Design Engineer at Keysight Technologies. Billy then joined Anritsu in 2017 as a Software Development Engineer. Later that year, they worked as a Software Engineer - Backend at Shippo. In 2018, they joined Metromile as a Software Engineer, and eventually progressed to the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager. Most recently, in 2022, Billy joined WePay as an Engineering Manager, a position they currently hold.

William (Billy) Luo completed their education in a chronological order. William(Billy) attended Mission San Jose High School from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they obtained the Cisco CCENT certification. Continuing their educational journey, William is currently enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology, pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2021 to 2023.
