Zhentao Hou

Zhentao Hou has a diverse work experience. Zhentao currently works as a Software Engineer at WePay since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Intern at Eventbrite from December 2019 to June 2020. At Eventbrite, they built business cases, completed in-depth analyses, and analyzed text-related event information using NLP libraries. Before Eventbrite, Zhentao worked as an Independent Editor at AJE - American Journal Experts from May 2018 to April 2019. Zhentao'searliest work experience was as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester from January 2012 to April 2018. During this time, they worked on building an optical system, studying the optical properties of nanomaterials, and investigating the mechanism for fluorescence brightening of carbon nanotubes.

Zhentao Hou's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University, which was obtained from 2007 to 2011. Zhentao then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Rochester from 2011 to 2013. Zhentao continued their academic journey by completing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Rochester, a program they attended from 2011 to 2018.

In 2019, Zhentao attended the University of San Francisco to pursue a Master of Science degree in Data Science, which they completed in 2020. To enhance their professional qualifications, Zhentao also obtained a certification as a Triplebyte Certified Data Scientist from Triplebyte in August 2020.
