Anneke van Abbema

Anneke van Abbema has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anneke started their career as a Stalmedewerker and instructeur at Hippisch Centrum de Haerst. Anneke then became the Voorzitter of C.S.V. Alpha, a Christelijke Studentenvereniging, where they led a team and developed policies. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Communication at the University of Twente, focusing on organization development. Anneke conducted research on motivation and leadership within organizations.

Following their education, Anneke worked as a Founder of Mozes: recht door zee advies, a communication research and consulting company. Anneke then joined Duurzaamheid Werkt as a Junior Consultant, specializing in recruitment and advising clients on personnel policies for sustainability frontrunners.

Anneke later joined the Belastingdienst as a Teamleider Centrale Regie Landelijk Incasso Centrum, responsible for planning and reporting. Anneke then worked at ProRail, first as a Beleidsadviseur/Projectmanager and later as the Afd. manager Projecten & Implementatie, leading a team of product owners, information specialists, and project managers in developing data-driven information products.

Most recently, Anneke joined WWF-Netherlands (Wereld Natuur Fonds) as the Head of IT & Information Management, where they oversee the organization's IT and information management functions. Overall, Anneke's work experience demonstrates their versatility and expertise in various industries and roles.

Anneke van Abbema has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Twente, which they earned from 2011 to 2013. Anneke also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from the same university, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. In 2014 to 2016, Anneke completed a leiderschap (leadership) program through the ORMIT traineeship. Anneke also attended Vuurmakers in 2017 for a course in Persoonlijk en publiek leiderschap (Personal and Public Leadership). In addition to their academic pursuits, they received training in horseback riding through an Instructeur niv. 2 (Instructor Level 2) program at ORUN from 2008 to 2009. Anneke'ssecondary education was completed at Greijdanus College in Zwolle from 2000 to 2006, where they graduated with a VWO diploma with a focus on Economics and Society (Economie en Maatschappij).
