Maheen Khan

Maheen Khan is an experienced professional specializing in climate resilience, sustainability, and communications. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the International Programme Committee for the Global Transitions Programme at Klimaatonderzoek Initiatief Nederland since March 2024, Maheen has held multiple roles at WWF-Netherlands, including International Climate Resilience Advisor and Senior Advisor for Just Climate Action since October 2021. Previous experience includes lecturing on sustainability at Maastricht University, serving as a communications consultant at ICCCAD, and founding the sustainable fashion startup Monokrome in Bangladesh. Maheen's background also includes project management roles and marketing coordination, with degrees in Marketing from Macquarie University and Sustainability Science from Maastricht University, complemented by a fashion design course from Polimoda.
