Sofie Mels

Sofie Mels has extensive experience in both education and the film industry. Since April 2018, Mels has been serving as a primary school teacher at WereldKidz. Additionally, Mels has worked as a freelance production and direction assistant since December 2009. Prior film experience includes roles such as set recording leader and general recording leader for various productions at VRT, notably for the fictional series "Wolven" and the series "Goesting," as well as the show "De Zaak" aired on Canvas. Mels also held the position of studio master for the radio program Radio 2 and taught special education at Jonatanschool from 2001 to 2005. Mels graduated from Erasmushogeschool Brussel in 2008 and has prior education from Karel De Grote Hogeschool and Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven'.
