Maarten de Jong

Maarten de Jong is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience since 2000. As the Owner of Wereldstage! Curacao N.A. and Wereldstage, Maarten has actively contributed to local development and education. In 2012, Maarten became the Owner of Teamwork Curacao N.V., which provides training and education to individuals and businesses in Curacao and is partnered with NHA Nederland for the former Dutch Antilles. Additionally, Maarten has served as Directeur Eigenaar at El Prado NV since 2009, focusing on investments in student housing and office buildings. As Managing Director of Stichting Kennis voor Curaçao since 2006, Maarten plays a vital role in encouraging highly educated Antilleans to return to their homeland, helping hundreds of students annually through the Bursalenvlucht initiative. Maarten holds educational qualifications from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Dalton Den Haag.
