Meghan Mensack

Meghan Mensack, PhD, CMDA, currently serves as the Director of Quality Engineering at Werfen since August 2022. Prior to this role, Meghan held various leadership positions at Accelerate Diagnostics from April 2013 to November 2021, including Director of Technical Operations and Department Head of Technical Operations, overseeing multidisciplinary teams focused on product robustness, including QC Method Development, Design Transfer, and Product Technical Support. Meghan's background also includes a role as a Lead in Design Transfer and Assay Development, where responsibilities involved product development in a regulated environment and collaboration across engineering and laboratory teams to bring diagnostic systems to market. Earlier in the career, Meghan worked as a Research Scientist at Colorado State University from November 2010 to March 2013, specializing in microfluidic device development for point-of-care testing and characterizing biodegradable polymers. Meghan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioanalytical Chemistry from Colorado State University between 2002 and 2007.
