Poonam Rao

Poonam Rao is an experienced professional in the fields of healthcare and marketing, currently serving as the International Area Manager and Marketing Manager for Werfen since May 2016. Poonam leads strategic marketing and commercial objectives for the Acute Care Diagnostics Business Unit across over 90 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Russia, and CIS, overseeing various business lines including Blood Gas Analysis and Patient Blood Management. Previous roles include Clinical Scientific Manager and Product Specialist at Werfen, Marketing Analyst at Henry Schein, and consulting as a Cosmetic Dental Surgeon. Poonam holds an MBA from Esade and the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Government Dental College and Hospital Mumbai.
