The leaders of WeRide have a wealth of experience in both the technological and business sides of the industry. The team's software architect comes from 神州专车, and their founding software engineer used to work at Peekabuy. Other members of the team have worked as software engineers at Google and research scientists at Siemens. Additionally, the team has experience in talent acquisition and recruiting from companies like QUANTIL Inc. and Adecco Group. The team is also highly educated, with degrees from universities like Tsinghua University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Minnesota.
