Ruben van Ottele

Ruben van Ottele is an experienced logistics and procurement professional with a career spanning over two decades, primarily within the Ministerie van Defensie. Currently serving as Teamleider Inkoop Facilitair and Senior Projectleider Transport en Logistiek since March 2016, Ruben provides expertise in transport, movements, and supply chain logistics at a military airbase. Previous roles include Commandant of the 940 Squadron, which functions as the air transport logistics unit for Defense, and various leadership positions in logistics planning and education within the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Prior to joining the Ministerie van Defensie, Ruben served as a council member for the local political party Lingewaard.NU and held significant positions in NATO, where responsibilities included leading logistical operations at the NATO Headquarters in Kandahar. Ruben's formal education includes attendance at the Nederlandse Defensie Academie and the Royal Military Academy.
