Obakhe Bukula

Obakhe Bukula is a Senior Associate at Werksmans Attorneys, specializing in banking and finance as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. With a strong background in debt capital markets, structured finance, and regulatory compliance, Obakhe has progressed through the ranks at Werksmans, previously serving as an Associate and Candidate Attorney. Additionally, Obakhe is a Fellow of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, participating in an entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports young entrepreneurs through training, networking, and mentorship. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Cape Town, complemented by experience as a Student Assistant at the UCT Law Clinic and a Course Tutor in the Department of Politics. Prior involvement includes serving as an Inaugural Member and Residences Head for the Constitutional Committee at UCT.
