Pieter Steyn

Pieter Steyn is a seasoned M&A corporate lawyer and Director at Werksmans, a position held since January 1992. With an educational background that includes a BSc in Laboratory Medicine and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as an LLM specializing in intellectual property, trade, and competition law from the University of South Africa, Pieter began practicing competition law following the enactment of the Competition Act in 1999. Additionally, since 2004, Pieter has served as Chairman of Lex Africa, the first and largest legal network in Africa, which boasts member law firms across 21 African countries.
