Howard Simpson

Howard Simpson currently serves as the General Manager and previously held the position of Operations Manager at WERS 88.9 FM since September 2007, where the focus is on upholding the station's mission as defined by Emerson College leadership. Prior experience includes roles as Production Director, Traffic Manager, IT Support, and Accounts Receivable at ESPN Boston from 2005 to 2007, as well as Production Director and Producer at WBIX-1060 AM from 1999 to 2004. Howard's career also includes experience as a Producer and Production Coordinator at Entercom Boston from 1994 to 1999, where responsibilities included researching show topics, scheduling guests, and managing production workflows. Howard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Emerson College, earned in 1994, and a high school diploma from Weston High School, completed in 1990.
