Sharla Stang

Sharla Stang has extensive work experience in finance and administration roles. Sharla started their career at Atlas_IED in 2002, where they served as the Director of Accounting and HR Manager. In this position, they handled various responsibilities including managing HR functions, accounting tasks, and working with executive staff on succession planning. Sharla stayed with the company until 2007.

After that, Sharla joined Pro Sound, Inc. as an Office Administrator from 2007 to 2009.

In 2009, they joined the Sarasota Housing Authority as the VP of Finance and Administration. In this role, they oversaw finance and human resources, integrating them into the organization's business strategies. Sharla managed a wide range of financial responsibilities such as budgeting, government reporting, cash management, and banking relations. Additionally, they handled various HR functions including staffing, benefits, payroll, policy creation, and training. Sharla was with the Sarasota Housing Authority until 2016.

Most recently, Sharla Stang worked at Wesgarde Components Group, Inc. Sharla initially joined as a Controller in 2017 and later assumed the role of VP of Finance in June 2019. No end date was provided for their current role.

Sharla Stang completed their education at the University of Louisville. From 1989 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance. Following this, they continued their studies at the University of Louisville and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 1992 to 1995. In November 2012, they obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute.
