Carlos Amaral

Carlos Amaral has over three decades of experience in the foundry and tooling industries, currently serving as a casting/tooling development and fill/solidification simulation expert at Wescast Industries Inc. since February 2011. Prior to this role, Carlos held various management positions, including Production Manager at Daniel Petit Model Inc. before its closure in 2011, and VP of Business Development and Project Manager at Grimsby Custom Tooling Ltd., which also closed in January 2009. Carlos began their career as Engineering Manager at Montupet from October 1986 to July 2003. An educational background in foundry technology was obtained at Marie Curie, earning a BTS degree in Fonderie.
