Dwayne Kennedy

Dwayne Kennedy currently serves as an RLC Territory Manager at Wesco Turf, Inc. since July 2023. Previously, Dwayne worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School from August 2021 to August 2023, focusing on Law studies and U.S. history. Dwayne's experience also includes serving as a Child Protective Investigator at the Florida Department of Children and Families from September 2017 to August 2021, and as a Juvenile Detention Officer for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in 2017. An internship with the John Shimkus Campaign in early 2016 involved voter outreach and marketing plan creation. Prior management experience was gained at East Side Mowers, where customer service and facility operations were key responsibilities. Dwayne holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University, along with an Associate of Arts from Iowa Western Community College.
