Ryan McNamara

Ryan McNamara is a seasoned professional in energy efficiency and carbon reduction, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Energy & Carbon at Wesgroup Properties since December 2022, where responsibilities include direct reporting to the VP of Sustainability and providing expertise on sustainability tools for new and existing developments. Prior experience includes roles at RDH Building Science from 2013 to 2022, progressing from Engineering Assistant to Building Performance Project Engineer, where Ryan led the development of new mechanical engineering services and managed over 40 projects related to energy and building science. Ryan holds a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, achieved in 2014 and 2016, respectively, and has substantial experience in mechanical design and energy analysis, having worked with diverse clients across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.
