Ray Cai

Rui Cai is an accomplished Full Stack Developer currently contributing to the development of the Edge Computing platform at Wesley Clover and Edge Signal since August 2021. As a founding team member of Edge Signal, Rui has been instrumental in utilizing Agile methodologies and leading frontend development initiatives. Prior to this, Rui served as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, where a web application was created using React and Express for processing kinematic videos, along with developing Python scripts for video format conversion. Rui also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Ericsson, participating in the integration of the Container Routing Engine with the Packet Core Gateway and testing new features on the Ericsson Linux platform. Rui holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
