Marc Guantonio has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Information Services Intern at The Watson Institute in 2011. Marc then worked as a Help Desk Technician at Tenova Core from 2012 to 2013. From 2014 onwards, Marc joined Family Services of Western Pennsylvania, where they initially served as an MIS Technical Assistant, providing support for a range of systems and users. Marc later advanced to the position of Systems and Network Administrator II, where they played a key role in reorganizing the Active Directory and implementing various group policies for enhanced security and software deployment. Marc's most recent experience is with Wesley Family Services, where they began as a Systems and Network Administrator III and then assumed the role of Director of IT Infrastructure in July 2021.
Marc Guantonio attended Penn State University from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences and Technology with a focus on Design and Development. Prior to their university education, they graduated from Monaca jr/sr high school in 2006 and earned a high school diploma. Additionally, Marc has obtained several certifications, including SC-300 from Microsoft in March 2022, MCSE Cloud Platform and Architecture from Microsoft in April 2018, Sonicwall Network Security Systems Administrator from SonicWall Inc. in May 2017, ITIL Foundations V3 from ITIL Certified in April 2017, CCNA R&S from Cisco in November 2016, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in May 2015, Security+ from CompTIA in May 2014, Network+ from CompTIA in October 2012, and A+ Certification from CompTIA in November 2011.
