Amanda Leinen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amanda began their career at the Iowa State University Book Store as a Student Supervisor from August 2008 to August 2009. Amanda then worked at the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, where they held multiple roles. From August 2009 to August 2010, they served as an AmeriCorps member. After that, they worked as an Administrative Assistant from August 2010 to January 2013, where they were responsible for entering daily donations into the donor database and organizing data for the Capital Campaign. Amanda then transitioned into the role of Development Coordinator from January 2013 to November 2016. In 2016, they joined WesleyLife as the Director of Donor Data and Compliance, a position they currently hold.
Amanda Leinen attended Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing.

By focusing on each person’s abilities and strengths–rather than their limitations–we believe we can impact the healthspan of older adults. Ignited by a passion to inspire older adults to live healthy, meaningful lives, we reach out with our ministries which include: independent and assisted living, rehabilitation, memory support and services including home care, adult day, home-delivered meals, hospice and transportation. As a nonprofit organization guided by Christian compassion, we were founded than 66 years ago as a place for aging Methodist ministers and their spouses to call home. Today, our services are delivered by 1,300 part- and full-time passionate team members throughout the state with a focus on creating healthier and longer lives.
