Kathleen Jin is a dedicated professional with experience in research, childcare, and military service. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at STEPP Lab since March 2022, Kathleen compiles data on the mental health of children and adolescents while exploring research methods and mental disorders. Also working as a Childcare Provider at Wesley United Methodist Church since February 2022, Kathleen cares for children during church services. In addition, Kathleen is a soldier in the Illinois National Guard and has served as a Professional Musician since November 2020, where responsibilities included leadership and communication within a group of soldiers. Previous experience includes working as a Childcare Worker at Advocate Condell Centre Club and an intern at Optimal Design, where Kathleen contributed to engineering projects and research initiatives. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Kathleen continues to build a strong foundation in understanding mental health.
