Maja Kubista

Maja Kubista has worked in various positions in the insurance and legal fields. Maja started their career at Advokatfirman Wilensky & Partners HB in 2011, where they worked in marketing. In 2011, they also joined Moderna Försäkringar as a claims adjuster until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Crawford & Company (Sweden) AB as a marine recovery specialist. Maja then joined Krogius Scandinavia in 2014 as a claims adjuster until 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at WESMANS, starting with the role of claims adjuster and eventually becoming the head of claims. Their most recent role is as the LL. M. Claims & Recoveries Manager for the Marine Claims Team at WESMANS in the Malmö/Gothenburg office.

Maja Kubista has a solid education history in the field of law. Maja first attended Lund University from 2005 to 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). Following this, they pursued further education at the same university from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Maritime Law. Additionally, in 2008, Kubista attended the University of Utrecht for a year to study Contract Drafting with a focus on Law. Maja also briefly studied Music Business Law at Linnaeus University in 2008.
