Chris Breeden

Chris Breeden is part of the Geomatics team at Wessex Archaeology based in Sheffield. As Spatial Data and Digital Innovation Manager, Chris works closely with the IT and Geomatics teams managing Geomatics projects, improving how Wessex Archaeology handles spatial data and driving forward innovation within the company.

His experience includes the metric survey of archaeological sites and historic buildings, using a range of techniques, report illustration, 3d reconstruction, and establishing IT infrastructure. Chris has a particular interest in Wessex Archaeology’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation and how it is used on infrastructure projects. This interest comes from many years working on large-scale construction projects both on-site and in a support role.
