Wessex Archaeology
Nicola Kalimeris currently serves as the Head of Communications at Wessex Archaeology since August 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Head of Communications at the University for the Creative Arts and MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology). At MOLA, Nicola led a communications team handling all strategic communications aspects, such as brand development, digital strategy, and crisis communications. Earlier career roles include Press Officer at the Museum of London and various positions involving media relations and archaeology, including a secondment as a Press Officer for the London 2012 Festival. Nicola holds a Master’s degree in Public Archaeology from UCL and a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the University of Nottingham.
