Martin Baker

Martin Baker serves as the Chair of Trustees at Wessex Multi Academy Trust since October 2023. Prior to this role, Martin co-founded and operated as the Chief Executive Officer at The Safeguarding Company from June 2014 to October 2023. Martin's extensive experience in law enforcement includes serving as Chief Constable of Dorset Police from January 2005 to September 2012. Academically, Martin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Criminology from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from the University of Birmingham, and completed the Top Management Programme at the National School of Government.
