High School Substitute Teacher at West Ada School District

Rick Hoelzel is a versatile professional with extensive experience in education and resource management. Currently serving as a High School Substitute Teacher in Math and Science for West Ada School District since September 2020, Rick combines teaching with a strong background in environmental management. Previously, Rick spent several years at Kings River Conservation District, first as Chief of the Flood Control Maintenance Division from 1983 to 2003, and then as Director of Resources from 2013 to September 2020, where Rick managed flood maintenance crews and oversaw the operation and maintenance of the Kings River Flood Control Project. Rick holds degrees in Industrial Technology with a focus on Construction Management and Groundwater Resources from California State University, Fresno.
