Sean Smith

Sean Smith is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in business reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Business Reporter and Business Editor at The West Australian since September 2003, Sean previously held the position of Deputy Business Editor at The Herald Sun from 1996 to 2003. Sean's career began at Australian Associated Press, where responsibilities included business reporting in both Perth and Melbourne from March 1992 to August 1996. Prior to that, Sean worked as a business reporter for Vereinigte Wirtschaftsdienste in London from January 1991 to January 1992. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Journalism from Curtin University, which was completed between 1980 and 1982.
