Jon Hummel has over 11 years of experience in the banking industry. Jon started their career as a Teller at Wells Fargo in 2009, where they exceeded referral and customer service goals. Jon then became a Personal Banker, initiating and closing loans for retail customers and consistently surpassing sales and cross-sell goals. As an Assistant Store Manager, Jon continued to work with customers on the retail side, closing loans for consumers and leading new hire banker orientations. Jon later joined West Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager, providing financial solutions for bank customers and assisting in branch management. Jon then advanced to roles including Credit Analyst, evaluating creditworthiness and making financial projections, and finally to Vice President roles in Commercial Banking at West Bank, where they actively managed loan portfolios, accumulated deposits, and monitored customer portfolios through financial analysis.

Jon Hummel completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa from 2005 to 2009. Jon also attended the West Des Moines Leadership Academy in 2016 to 2017. Additionally, in 2015, they attended the Iowa Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. Prior to their university education, Jon attended Spirit Lake High School from 2001 to 2005.
