Stephanie Mack

Stephanie Mack has a diverse range of work experience in the creative and writing fields. Stephanie began their career as a Lead Page builder and Copy editor for Blackbird: an online journal of literature and the arts, where they worked from August 2011 to May 2012. Stephanie then served as a Shift Leader, Consultant, and Receptionist at VCU Writing Center from August 2011 to May 2014. Stephanie then became a University College Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University from January 2013 to December 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Copywriter at VCU School of Engineering from August 2014 to June 2015.

Stephanie's next role was as a Copywriter for Royall & Company, where they wrote fundraising direct marketing copy for college and universities, collaborating with various teams. Stephanie worked there from June 2015 to November 2018. Currently, Stephanie is employed at West Cary Group, where they initially held the position of Senior Copywriter from November 2018 to June 2022. Stephanie has now transitioned to the role of Associate Creative Director, starting in June 2022, showcasing their growth and advancement within the company.

Stephanie Mack earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from the University of Mary Washington, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing at Virginia Commonwealth University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014.
