Cara Jenkins

Cara Jenkins is an experienced higher education professional with a strong background in student affairs and leadership development. Currently serving as the Director of Special Projects and Professional Development at West Chester University of Pennsylvania since June 2010, Jenkins oversees division-wide professional development and training programs, onboarding and staff orientation, and strategic projects. Previous roles include Director of Student Leadership and Involvement and Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life. Jenkins began a career at Virginia Commonwealth University, where responsibilities included roles such as Student Affairs Generalist and Fraternity and Sorority Life Coordinator. Jenkins holds a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Randolph-Macon College.
