Kimberly Johnson

Kimberly Johnson is an experienced academic and clinical dietitian with a focus on nutrition across various contexts. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Coordinator of the Sustainable Food Systems Management Track at West Chester University of Pennsylvania since 2015, Johnson teaches courses on topics such as community nutrition, global nutrition, and nutrition ethics. Additionally, Johnson has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member for the SUNY Empire Center for Distance Learning since 2010, specializing in quantitative research methods in social sciences. Past instructional roles include a tenure at Syracuse University, where courses on food ethics and history were delivered, as well as positions in clinical dietetics, including at Cortland Memorial Hospital and Maine General Rehab and Nursing. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Syracuse University, alongside advanced degrees from Yale and Syracuse, and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University.
