James Spiers

James Spiers is an experienced professional with a diverse background in product management and creative direction. Currently serving as an SBA Loan Servicing Specialist at Santa Cruz County Bank since April 2020, James manages client relations for Paycheck Protection Program loans, ensuring timely funding for businesses. Prior experience includes a Senior Product Manager role at Syniverse Technologies, where James led the A2P messaging product line, and a Senior Program Manager position at Verisign, where James developed an A2P messaging product for small mobile network operators. Additionally, James was Creative Director and Program Manager at LightSurf Technologies, contributing to the development of the PictureMail platform, and co-founded The Animation Farm, focusing on interactive content development. James holds an MFA in Film, Video, and Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati.
