Jared Girman

Director Of Government Relations & Strategic Initiatives at West Coast Reduction Ltd.

Jared Girman has extensive work experience in various industries. Jared started their career as a Product Designer at Mad Creations Inc. from February 2002 to November 2004. Jared then worked at Wilton Brands, first as a Product Designer from May 2005 to September 2006, and later as an Account Manager from September 2006 to May 2007. During their time at Wilton Brands, they contributed to increased sales and played a key role in overseeing prototype development and manufacturing in China.

Next, Girman joined Buchanan Renewables Power Project Bid as a Project Lead, where they organized a bid for a biomass power plant project from an undefined start date in 2008 to an undefined end date in 2009. Jared demonstrated their ability to manage diverse teams across multiple locations while working on this project.

Girman then joined Maxx Marketing as a Creative Account Executive from May 2007 to November 2009. In this role, they served major clients such as Kellogg's, Unilever, and Procter & Gamble, meeting their specific product requirements within tight timelines and low budgets.

After this, Girman worked as the VP of Business Development at Bridge Renewable Energy Technologies Inc. from January 2009 to August 2011. Jared played a crucial role in establishing and evaluating strategic initiatives related to sales, business-to-business relationships, and marketing activities.

Finally, Girman joined West Coast Reduction Ltd. in January 2012. Jared initially served as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives, responsible for various strategic endeavors such as new business development, strategic planning, marketing, and public/government relations. Later, they were promoted to the role of Director of Government Relations & Strategic Initiatives, starting in January 2020.

Jared Girman completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors at the University of Manitoba from 1994 to 1998, majoring in Fine Arts. Jared then pursued a Master of Environmental Design (MEDes) in Industrial and Product Design at the University of Calgary from 2000 to 2004.
