Kevin Whitson

Kevin Whitson has extensive experience in education and youth services, currently serving as a Teaching Professional at Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District since July 2018, providing academic instruction and counseling for at-risk teens. Whitson has also worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at West Contra Costa Unified School District since September 1987 and held the role of Probation Peace Officer at San Francisco Juvenile Hall from 2000 to June 2018, focused on the care and counseling of youth in custody. Additional experience includes serving as a Case Manager for at-risk homeless youth at Larkin Street Youth Services, a Truancy Officer at Barbara Alexander Charter School, and a Youth Services Advisor for the City of Berkeley. Whitson's educational background includes a Master's degree in Psychology and a Post Master's Certificate in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, alongside relevant certifications in education.
