Lafaun Preston

LaFaun Preston is a skilled Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience in various settings, currently working at Loma Linda University Medical Center since May 2023 in a PRN capacity. Since November 2019, LaFaun has been providing therapy to middle and high school students at the West Covina Unified School District. Prior internship experience includes a position at Harbor-UCLA, where LaFaun treated and assessed adults with speech-language and swallowing disorders, and a role with Baldwin Park Unified School District, focusing on children ages 3-11. LaFaun's clinical training at California State University-Los Angeles encompassed a diverse range of clients, addressing numerous speech and language disorders. In addition to clinical roles, LaFaun has a background in patient safety and support positions, including a CNA role at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles, complemented by two Associate degrees from Rio Hondo College.
