John Shook

John Shook is an experienced professional in export wood product sales, currently serving as General Manager at West Fraser since January 2017, after previously holding the position of Export Sales Manager. Prior to West Fraser, John worked at Western Forest Products from July 2012 to December 2016 as a Sales Representative, and at Sojitz Corporation of America, Inc. from March 2011 to June 2012 as a Lumber Assistant. John's career began in education with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), serving as an Assistant Language Teacher from July 2004 to March 2010. John holds a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Victoria and has studied at East China Normal University, Nankai University, and Tianjin International School, where a high school diploma was obtained.
