Chris Piel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Chris started their career as a Sports Reporting Intern at the East Valley Tribune in 2008 and went on to work as a Reporting Intern at College Times in 2009. Chris also served as a Research Aide/Copy Editor at Arizona State University in the same year. In 2010, they worked as a Research Fellow at Webbmedia Group, conducting research and writing a popular white paper. Chris then joined Phoenix New Times as a Contributing Writer from 2010 to 2013. In 2009, they joined Research Strategy Group at Arizona State University as a Research Analyst, where they supported strategic planning and wrote strategic reports.
