Dan Rehman currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for the West Hempstead Union Free School District, a position held since July 2015, following a role as Assistant Superintendent. Prior to this, Rehman was Principal at West Hempstead High School from August 2011 to July 2015 and Principal at Chestnut Street School from July 2009 to June 2011. Rehman began career in education at Plainview-Old Bethpage CSD, where positions included Assistant Principal and Educator from September 1997 to June 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of Richmond, a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Adelphi University, and an SAS/SDA in Educational Leadership and Administration from LIU Post.
