Stephen Takacs

Stephen Takacs is an accomplished photographer with extensive freelance experience across various media outlets and event coverage. Currently a freelance photographer for Herald Community Newspapers and HuntingtonNow, Stephen has also contributed to West Hempstead Union Free School District as a Sub Cleaner. With a career beginning in 2005, Stephen has worked with multiple organizations, including Blank Slate Media, Fire News, CJ Publishers Inc., and The Garden City News, capturing a wide range of events such as parades, sporting events, and graduation ceremonies. Education includes studies at the New York Institute of Photography, where Stephen developed skills in both traditional and digital photography, complemented by technical training at Hunter Business School. Additionally, from 2016 to 2018, Stephen volunteered at Bobbi and the Strays, supporting a no-kill animal shelter.
