Sonjia Yu is a seasoned designer with extensive experience in interactive and digital experiences, currently contributing to the Hong Kong Palace Museum at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since January 2022. Previously, Sonjia held the position of Senior Experiential Designer at yucolab, focusing on various forms of interactive media and exhibition design from November 2014 to January 2022. Additionally, Sonjia served as Art Director at Tooogather Limited, providing art direction for digital products and fostering collaborations across Taiwan and Hong Kong. Early career experience includes roles as a UX/UI Designer and Designer at ADO Limited and Laiyan Projects, respectively, as well as an internship at viscomm gp. Sonjia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University and studies at Ewha Womans University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
