Wilson Yeung

Wilson Yeung has extensive experience in the field of IT and digital transformation. Wilson started their career in 2005 as a Teaching Assistant at Hong Kong Baptist University. Wilson then worked as a Research Assistant, where they designed and implemented a Wi-Fi treasure hunting game for the Beijing Olympic event.

In 2008, Wilson joined Y5ZONE as a Manager of Application Development. Here, they participated in system rebuilding and streamlined workflows using ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

In 2013, Wilson joined HKBN, where they held various roles such as Manager, Senior Manager, and Associate Director in the IT department. Wilson led teams to deliver digital transformation projects both internally and externally. Wilson played a key role in driving the adoption of new technologies such as API & microservices and K8S.

In 2023, Wilson joined the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority as the Head of Application Solutions and Sustainment.

Wilson Yeung obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Computer Science from Hong Kong Baptist University from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Wilson has also obtained various certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2023, UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer v1.0 from UiPath in October 2022, AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions from Microsoft in April 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft in April 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in January 2022, Professional Scrum with User Experience I from Scrum.org in December 2019, Professional Scrum Master II from Scrum.org in April 2019, Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in December 2017, and MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) from MuleSoft in May 2020.
