Tim Borchers

Tim Borchers began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Wayne State University in 1991 before transitioning to a faculty position at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1996. Tim served in various roles at Minnesota State University Moorhead, including as Department Chair, Associate Dean for Arts and Sciences, and Dean, until 2015. From 2015 to 2023, they worked at Peru State College as the Vice President for Academic Affairs. In 2023, they were appointed as the President of West Liberty University.

Tim Borchers received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1991. Tim then went on to complete their Master's Degree in Communication at Wayne State University from 1991 to 1993. In 1996, Tim earned their PhD in Communication from Wayne State University.
