John Lowery is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the financial and law enforcement sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at West Mercia Police since August 2022, John previously held the same title at The West Brom from July 2019 to March 2022, where notable achievements included overseeing the Savings Transformation Enabler Project. Prior to that, John contributed to Lloyds Banking Group for nearly a decade, initially as a Senior Implementation Manager, leading the successful MBNA integration, and later serving as a Development Support Manager, managing resources and governance for multiple projects. John began their career at HBOS, ascending to Development Manager, where leadership of a 30+ staff IT team led to national recognition. John holds an educational background from Hugh Baird College, spanning 1987 to 1989.

West Mercia Police is the territorial police force responsible for policing the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin) and Worcestershire in England. The force area covers 2,868 square miles (7,430 km2) making it the fourth largest police area in England and Wales. The resident population of the area is 1.2 million. Whilst much of our area is rural, the conurbations we police include Hereford, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury, Telford, Redditch and Worcester. We tailor our policing to our communities, responding to issues that affect deprived urban areas as well as rural communities.
