Paul A. Decotis

Paul A. DeCotis is a seasoned professional in the energy and utilities sector with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently serving as Senior Partner and Head of East Coast Energy & Utilities at West Monroe since June 2014, DeCotis has held key leadership roles including Managing Director and Vice President of Power Markets at Long Island Power Authority and Energy Secretary for the New York State Office of the Governor. Prior experience includes presidency at Innovative Management Solutions and a Director position at NYSERDA, where contributions included leading corporate planning and supporting the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. DeCotis began his career as Chief of Policy Analysis at the New York State Energy Office. Educational credentials include an MBA from Russell Sage College, an MA from the University at Albany, and a BS from Brockport College.
