Russ Lott possesses extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry, currently serving as an Independent Agent at West Motor Freight since December 2018 and as the Owner of Intermountain Freight Services since January 2014. Additionally, Russ held positions as an Agent for Logistic Dynamics, Inc. between December 2014 and December 2018, and at GRD Freight Express, Inc. from November 2012 to August 2014, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional service to both shippers and carriers. Prior work experience includes roles as a Hay Broker and Horse Trainer at Intermountain Training & Services from January 2005 to November 2012. Russ Lott holds an Associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology from Idaho State University and a high school diploma from Sugar Salem High School.

WEST Motor Freight’s roots go back for more than 100 years, unlike many of today’s truckload carriers that have sprung up as a result of deregulation in 1980. The original founder began hauling freight by horse and wagon in 1907. He started a philosophy of commitment that has become a tradition at WEST. In 1988, that tradition passed to the company’s present owner, Albert L. Evans Jr., and his family. The Evans family has tradition of their own as founders of Evans Delivery Company, which was started by Albert Evans, Sr. in Pottsville, in 1939. Today, under the leadership of CEO, Matthew Bowen Bates, tradition and a strong commitment to customers and employees are the hallmarks of WEST Motor Freight.
