Gemma Perkins

Gemma Perkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in career guidance and youth engagement. Currently serving as the Careers Hub Lead and Enterprise Coordinator at the West of England Combined Authority since November 2016, Gemma collaborates with the Careers & Enterprise Company to coordinate the Enterprise Adviser Network, connecting schools with business leaders to enhance strategic careers planning. Prior to this role, Gemma worked as the Regional Manager for Envision in Bristol from July 2010 to February 2016, where responsibilities included launching the Community Apprentice programme and overseeing its delivery to help young people develop employability skills. Earlier in Gemma's career, as an Agency Sales Manager at InsideJapan Tours Ltd from September 2004 to June 2010, relationship building with travel agents to promote tours to Japan was a key focus. Gemma holds a BA in Religious Studies from Lancaster University.
