Bill Brownson has been with the West Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church since June 2010, serving as CFO & Director of Administration. Bill also briefly held the title of Interim CEO at UMCH Family Services. With a background in finance and a MBA from The Ohio State University, Bill has years of experience as a Vice President at JPMorgan and Banc One Investment Management Group. Bill oversees a $35 million annual income and a $70 million investment portfolio for The Conference.

The West Ohio Conference is the ministry office for The United Methodist Church in 58 counties of Ohio, in ministry with nearly 200,000 members, 1,200 local United Methodist congregations, 8 satellite offices, 3 camping and retreat centers, and multiple community centers and missions sites in Ohio and globally. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are Wesleyan in our theology and follow the practice of 3 simple rules - do no harm, do good, stay in love with God. We believe that faith always includes a social dimension. One cannot be a solitary Christian. As we grow in faith through our participation in the church community, we are also nourished and equipped for mission and service to the world.
