Shizuka Maria Aparcero Igarashi is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a diverse background in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as an Occupational Therapist in Inpatient Neuro Rehab at West Park Healthcare Centre since May 2015 and as a home care Occupational Therapist at VHA Home HealthCare since April 2017, Shizuka is the primary OT for the Palliative Care Integrated Team and an ADP Authorizer for Ambulation Aids/Mobility Devices. Previous experience includes roles at Mount Sinai Hospital, Hamilton Health Sciences, and Acclaim Ability Management Inc., among others. Shizuka holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Health Studies, both from McMaster University.
