Frans Staes

Frans Staes has extensive experience in process engineering and operations management. Frans began their career as Site Director at Helvoet Pharma Belgium NV in 2006 and held this role until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they served as Senior Director of Industrial Engineering at Datwyler Pharma Packaging Belgium. In 2012, they took on the position of Site Director at Datwyler Pharma Packaging USA for 10 months before becoming the Director of Global Process Engineering at Datwyler Pharma Packaging International NV from 2012 to 2013. Staes then joined West Pharmaceutical Services as the Director of Process Engineering Europe from 2013 to 2014 and later became the Director of Global Process Engineering from 2014 to 2017. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Director of Process Engineering, Global Operations at West Pharmaceutical Services.

Frans Staes obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electro mechanics from KHLIM, completing their education from 1978 to 1982.
